DAILY REMINDERS:
*ALWAYS turn in your assignments to the assigned area.
*CONSTANTLY focus on how you may improve.
*REVIEW your planner daily.
Accelerated Reader:
AR PROCEDURES

Make a list of books that you are interested in reading.

Look up AR information on ARBOOKFIND.COM and be sure reading levels are on your ZPD range.

Once you have found books that are on the correct levels pick one to read.

Allow teacher to approve book.

Begin reading. Keep up with pages read daily on log.

Allow parent to sign at some point during the week/reading of the book.

Teacher will initial and allow student to take an AR test when ready.

Students MUST have AR log with them at time of test.

Tutors Homework Louisiana offers FREE online tutoring and academic resources from Tutor.com for Louisiana residents. Get help in math, science, social studies or English from a live tutor. The service can be accessed from a Louisiana public library or from your home computer. Tutors are available Sunday through Thursday 2 p.m. - 10 p.m. The Skills Center is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week! The website is: http://www.homeworkla.org/
