Welcome! It is my pleasure to introduce myself as your son’s/daughter’s English teacher. This course offers a study of writing, literature, and grammar. In order for your child to be successful in this class, they will need to be prepared and committed to learning and working at all times.  This past school year was quite an experience for many of us. However, it is my goal to keep my lessons and assignments as straightforward and clear as possible so that we can complete our goals by the end of the school year.

    Students in my English class will have the opportunity to read, write, present, and participate in class discussions throughout the year. Students are expected to complete homework assignments in order to enhance the learning that takes place during class. They are also expected to reach their required Accelerated Reading (AR) goals which will be set upon returning to school physically (more details coming soon). 
   
​     Parental support and involvement are necessary to help your child succeed. Please feel free to contact me any time if you have questions about your child’s assignments or progress in my class.
